Gabrielle Kervella is recognized as one of Australia’s finest cheese
makers. For more than ten years, she has persistently been overcoming a
myriad of obstacles to realize her dream of producing her Demeter
certified goat cheeses. It has been with dogged determination, a
passion for her crossbred Swiss Saanen and Anglo Nubien herd and the
invaluable experience of cheese maker partner Alan Cockmam that she has
converted her small farm at Gidgegannup, in the hills north of Perth,
into an award winner.
