Meet The People

Deborah Preston

Deborah has worked in and around the wholefood/health-food industry for 23 years. She formally studied nutrition for 2 years and then became a Chef & Manager at Iku Wholefoods - Sydney’s premier macrobiotic food restaurants. She began her own successful business “One Earth Foods”, which produced organic biscuits without dairy or sugar, and later made tarts, cakes, savoury foods and her famous seasonal organic apple pies - people in Sydney still look out for them. She later renovated the kitchen to create a small Organic Food Store and Café at Elanora Heights. In 1999 she sold One Earth Foods and moved to Byron Bay, where she now provides organic catering.
