Since 1997 The Organics Directory Poster has been distributed to people and businesses connected with or interested in all aspects of the organic industry; producers, growers, wholesalers, retailers and manufacturers, the public, wholistic practitioners and medical colleges, retail outlets, field days, media as well as government and industry bodies.

Who are we?

Over 14 years ago, Catriona Macmillan founded Heaven & Earth Systems P/L (now The Organics Directory) with the idea of bringing together a team of experienced people with skills and interest in the areas of the environment, health and ecology to work on development projects within these fields.

What is our purpose?

Through advocacy for the organic and wholistic food industries, we support wholesome food and lifestyle options, sustainable agriculture and ecology. Our vision is to assist the organic industry as a whole to grow and become a vital part of our community.

What have we done?

Heaven and Earth Systems P/L have created a number of inaugural events, activities and publications including:
“Organics The Future,” Organic Exhibitions at the Sydney Royal Easter Show, “The Organic Table”, The Organics Directory, the Organic Tucker Newsletter, and more.


Catriona Macmillan

Catriona Macmillan has been an advocate of organics and wholefoods for over 20 years. By connecting farmers with retailers and consumers, she promotes a better understanding of the true value of organic produce. Since 1997, Catriona has published The Organics Directory which is designed to help consumers find organics. Around half a million copies have been distributed across Australia.

A passionate and well-informed promoter of organics, Catriona is co-founder of The Organic Traders and Consumers Network (OTACnet). Using her experience as a production manager in film and advertisement, she has organised many conferences, events and exhibits for the organic industry, including The Organics the Future Exhibits at the Sydney Royal Easter Show and The Organic Table. From 1998-2001, Catriona worked for The Olympics Coordination Authority's Ecology Programs as a manager, with special responsibility for communications and events.
